A careless phone call traps Radovan

A careless phone call traps Radovan

Watching a documentary on Serbian war criminal Radovan Karadzic last night, I was intrigued to hear that it was his careless use of mobile phones that got him nicked last month.

According to CNN, Karadzic's disguise was effective right up until the moment he was caught.

He is reported to have boarded the 73 bus carrying a bag containing a lap-top, two mobile phones, clothes including swimming trunks around 450 quid in cash.

Belgrade police say they were suspicious of his actions, but when they discovered he had two mobile phones they started monitoring him in the month leading up to his arrest.

Obviously having two mobile phones in Belgrade is a serious issue.

Hmmm - I have five. No, don't even go there...
